The Villa Camillus
The Villa Camillus is nestled in a wooded rural area of Columbia Station in Lorain County. A lovely Tudor-style home-like setting graciously welcomes rehabilitation patients, as well as long-term care residents. Though we do not have a religious affiliation, our name reflects the work of St. Camillus who devoted his life to treating the sick and senior with respect, humanity and love. We welcome all faiths.
Our care is managed by Altercare Integrated Health Services, a family-owned and operated company with 45 years of nationally recognized quality care. Care services include short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, long-term care, hospice, palliative and respite care. Comprehensive rehabilitative programs include physical, occupational, speech and other specialized therapies.
We also provide a secure and loving environment for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, with beautiful views of the surrounding country. Our person-centered care program focuses on nurturing each person's current skills and changing abilities in an atmosphere that fosters comfort and trust.
Residents enjoy special touches, such as a grand chandelier in our activity/dining space and an outdoor patio and garden. A secure courtyard offers secure opportunities to connect with nature, and a single-floor layout provides convenience and safety.
We strive to provide the independence and overall quality of life we would want for our own families.
